Key Account Manager

Upto £60K base with excellent OTE & benefits    London

Our client a leading provider of business intelligence and advisory services to the pharmaceutical and medical device industry are on the lookout for Key Account Managers. As a Key Account Manager, you will be tasked with winning, maintaining and growing new and existing partnerships with Key Strategic and Growth Customers.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strategic account development with regional teams of Tier 1 Pharma and European Mid-Tier customers
  • Conducting whitespace analysis for assigned Strategic Accounts
  • Partner with Customer Experience and Marketing teams to optimize the customer journey
  • Interfacing with all key buying points and advocates including users of the platforms, department/franchise heads, brand teams etc
  • Create, execute and maintain strategic account and business plans
  • Expand the uptake of products and services into new departments
  • Prospecting for new customers within new and existing accounts to support a balanced pipeline for future sales
  • Generating proposals, planning customer meetings, and forming a team best suited to meet the customer need
  • Developing and maintaining a high level of customer, industry and product knowledge

Education and Experience:

  • Business or Scientific Degree preferred
  • Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience preferred
  • 3+ years Sales and Account management experience
  • Knowledge of market research or business intelligence
